ANGEL’S MESSAGE TO THE SHEPHERDS  

TEXT: Luke 2:8-20

The message of the angel to the shepherds was:

1. A message that was PERSONAL

    * Read verses 10-11

    * God meets us where we are.

2. A message of PRAISE

    * Read verse 14a

    * God’s highest glory is declared in His plan of salvation.

3. A message of PEACE

    * Read verse 14b

    * There had not been peace on earth since the fall of man.

    * Read Ephesians 2:13-14

        1) SIMPLE in its Declaratio

        2) POWERFUL in its Demonstration

        3) PERSONAL in its Invitation
