CAN GOD
REALLY SAVE YOUR SOUL?
The word “saved” literally means: “to
save, to keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or
destruction.” Can God really save your soul? YES, He can! And
here’s three reasons why:

GOD’S PROMISE TO SAVE
a.
It is an OLD promise

Genesis 3:15

Revelations 13:8

It is an ONGOING promise
·
John 5:24
c.
It is an OPEN promise
·
God’s promise of salvation is not limited to a
select few, but is offered to all.

GOD’S POWER TO SAVE

How can we be sure that God can do what He
promised?
a.
He has the POWER to call the sinner
·
John 6:44, 65
·
Salvation is a process that always originates
with God in Heaven.
b.
He has the POWER to convert the sinner
·
All sin in immediately and completely forgiven
– 1 John 1:7
·
The sinner becomes a child of God – 1 John
3:1-2
·
The sinner is delivered from sin
·
the power of sin – Romans 6:14
·
the penalty of sin – Romans 5:9; 8:1; John 5:24
·
the pleasure of sin – John 16:7-15
·
the presence of sin – Revelations 21:27
·
The sinner becomes a joint heir with Christ –

The sinner inherits a heavenly home – John

The sinner becomes a saint – 1 Corinthians 1:2;

CONCLUSION
·
Romans 10:9-10 tells us that to be saved, we
must acknowledge the claims of
Christ and that we must transfer
our faith from works, religions, self-effort,
self-righteousness, whatever it
may be that we are trusting in and trust Jesus and
Him ALONE for our soul’s
salvation.
